Models
Discover model IDs and retrieve a single catalog entry.
/v1/modelsapi.17.wtfList available models
Authenticate with a model API key. This endpoint has no required query parameters. The default response uses the OpenAI list format. The catalog hides beta models without beta access, free models from unverified accounts, and explicitly restricted models. Pool permissions are also checked when you use a model.
curl https://api.17.wtf/v1/models \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $LM0_API_KEY" Retrieve a model
GET /v1/models/{model_id} returns a single entry. Use the complete model ID; URL-encode the ID when constructing the path. Unknown IDs return 404, and inaccessible models may return 403.
const id = "MODEL_ID";
const response = await fetch(`https://api.17.wtf/v1/models/${encodeURIComponent(id)}`, {
headers: { Authorization: `Bearer ${process.env.LM0_API_KEY}` },
});
console.log(await response.json()); Anthropic catalog format
Include anthropic-version: 2023-06-01 to receive Anthropic-shaped entries with id, display_name, created_at, and type. Lists include has_more, first_id, and last_id; this implementation returns the catalog in a single page.
Choose the right model
The public models endpoint returns basic identifiers. Use the console catalog for text versus image type, capabilities, credit multipliers, supported image sizes, and availability. Vision, reasoning, sampling controls, and function calling depend on the selected upstream model. An image model cannot be used on a text endpoint.
